Why Prevention?
In the year 1973 Shalom Drug & Alcohol Program received funds to pioneer Prevention in the (high school) schools in Philadelphia. Shalom, Inc. has remained viable by acknowledging the needs and requests of the Greater Philadelphia schools and community at large bringing us to 2025. We actively participate in community coalition work/outreach. As a non-profit agency we are grateful for the funding provided by the City of Philadelphia, grants, and donations.
